Cracker toffee crunch (Neomommy1967)

2 Sticks of butter or Margrine
1 Cup of Light brown sugar
Saltine crackers (Matzo's , pretzle sticks or any crunchy slightly salty snack as those)
12 Ounces of Semi sweet Chocolate Chips (or a combo of Chocolate chips , peanutbutter chips , butterscotch , Mint chocolate chips)

1.Preheat oven to 350
2.Line cookie sheet with tin foil .. spread tightly the crackers or whatever your using filling as many gaps as you can.
3.Melt butter and brown sugar in a heavy sauce pan bringing it to a boil, cook for about 5 minutes or it looses its glossy oily look...
4.pour sugar mixture over the crackers as evenly as you can
5.Bake in oven 10-15 minutes or until all bubbly.
6. take out of oven and Idmeditally sprinkle the top with the chocolate chips let sit for 5 minute to allow the heat of the crackers melt the chocolate then with a butter knife spread the chocolate evenly over the crackers. sprinkle with nuts or like i did crushed candy cane bits.
Let sit for a hour at room temp.. then break apart and enjoy ..
